I never had scars but wanted to see Dr Molloy again but he told me most dermatologists can't be bothered doing manual extractions as it takes so long. All the best.

I had permanent filler (bellafill) in my tear troughs 10 years ago. I had no issues but recently I used the NuFace device and I swear it caused some kind of disturbance because my under eyes got super swollen and then I started developing granulomas. Long story short I had to find a specialist out of state because unfortunately nobody in WA state is familiar with bellafill and got a series of injections that thankfully made the swelling go away. I really want to get c02 laser resurfacing done but I’m terrified it will trigger the same problem and I’ll be back to looking like I did 😢 it was awful.

I tried starting low and gradually increasing potency, but no matter how low I went, my skin just wasn’t happy. Eventually I just decided if I can’t use a low strength frequently, I may as well go for a high strength less frequently. In for a penny, in for a pound. So, just jumped up to that 30% AHA The Ordinary peel… and it was the same level of irritation as a mild acid toner! Don’t know if the pH or something is different with that that might make it less irritating and less effective? But, it was as fine as it was gonna get using exfoliating acids on my skin. Maybe I should leave it on for longer than 10 minutes? Also, how come it doesn’t say that that it needs neutralising (beyond washing off)? Is there something different about this acid peel? The way that people talk about it, it’s actually anticlimactic how little stinging or subsequent irritation there was! I feel like I might’ve done something wrong?? I would otherwise say that I did everything right, except using a neutralising solution, it’s just my skin is so reactive and prone to irritation, that I expected if it can’t handle a super mild acid toner, it definitely wouldn’t cope well with 30% AHA 😵‍💫 But, I’ve used it several times now (approx 2 weeks apart) and it’s been consistently fine. My acne was starting to get better but then after going to the gym for a while I have acne all over my chin again. I tried so many things that didn't work but maybe it's the whey protein.
